Buildings offer us protection, but they must not appear oppressive or even overwhelming. We like to enjoy safety, but we feel uncomfortable when contact with the outside world is interrupted for a longer period of time, when we are separated from nature.
We need security, but we also want to breathe freely in our rooms and not only relax but also be able to develop.
Space affects us strongly, yet subtly. Buildings, houses, exterior and interior spaces document our present and take part in shaping our future. We experience them – often unconsciously – with all our senses, but also through our reason, our heart and our soul. In this office we bring nature into our projects. We plan rooms whose proportions, shape and orientation, openings and connections are in harmony with nature.
In our office, we not only plan new buildings in this way, but also transform existing buildings according to these principles as part of extensions and conversions.
Consulting on sustainable building and implementing the priorities you set
Sustainable building is a complex, multifaceted topic. Climate change calls for urgent action, so we will suggest the building methods through which you can contribute to preventing it. We also address other characteristics of construction that are important in the sense of sustainability.
Once we have fully informed you of the available options, you can choose the approach that suits you best.
Procedure
You describe your wishes, needs and the budget you have estimated and we discuss it together. We inspect and analyze the site.
On this basis, we develop a concept that contains the essential characteristics of your building project.
The concept is filtered through laws and regulations, developed, specified in the further planning and finally implemented with the appropriate materials and the corresponding installations.
Your wishes have come true! Your building project has turned into a completed building that can be used for its intended purpose.
The cost planning monitors and controls the whole process from the beginning and is refined over time.
